As one of the major overseas operational entities of CSCEC (ranked 13th in the “Fortune Global 500” list & 6th in the “ENR Top Global Contractor” list), CSCEC ME covers markets of UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman.
CSCEC ME is now a comprehensive total-solution provider whose business has reached nearly all the sectors of the construction industry and has become the largest international contractor in the Middle East with more than 8,000 employees. Up till now, CSCEC ME has completed 127 projects covering residential, hotel, hospital, office, buildings, roads, bridges, and airports that have made tremendous contributions to local economic development and improvement of average living standards.
In recent years, CSCEC ME has built a number of landmark projects with high quality and speed in Middle East, such as Abu Dhabi International Airport, Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, Downtown ViewsⅡ, Act One Act Two Project, Emirates Road, Office of the Future, Dubai Silicon Park, Sabah Al–Salem University City–Kuwait University, National Bank of Kuwait New Headquarters and etc. With the achievement of these projects, CSCEC ME has won more than 100 well-known domestic and international awards. Among them, the 2012 Best Tall Building Award Overall Best Tall Building Worldwide won by Qatar Doha Tower Project, the IPMA Global Project Profession Forum Gold Winner (Large- & Mega- sized Projects) won by Al Shindagha Corridor Phase 2D Project, the Construction Innovation Awards won by Emirates Road Project.
In 2013, CSCEC ME won the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) in its Silver Category, becoming the only foreign construction company among the award-winning companies, and the only Chinese company who won this award so far. CSCEC ME has won the MRM Business Award (Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum) for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020. CSCEC ME devotes to fulfill its social responsibility in UAE and has won the Arabia CSR & Sustainability Awards for the fourth consecutive year in 2024.
