Since Tamkeen’s inception in 2006, Tamkeen has always made it its mission to empower the private sector to drive economic growth in the Kingdom by providing programs and support for enterprises and individuals. In line with the Kingdom’s collective efforts and comprehensive vision towards creating a thriving business-friendly ecosystem with a highly skilled Bahraini workforce, Tamkeen invested BHD 2 billion in direct and indirect support to enhance funding opportunities for the private sector, specifically SMEs, and supported the training and employment of Bahraini individuals. These opportunities enable the private sector and the national workforce to strengthen and further develop Bahrain’s national economy.
